Print extra forms and distribute them to your friends. GCM will purchase books appropriate to your specific requests and ship them to Agua Viva with personalized book plates pasted onto the fly leafs. The construction of the new school building at Agua Viva has been completed and classes for grades Pre-K through Sixth have been held since the beginning of the Guatemalan school year in early January Colegio Agua Viva is dedicated to the glory of God and to the future of the children. Currently, the school’s enrollment includes 60 children from Agua Viva and 25 children from neighboring Colonia Puerto Rico. The hope is to serve even more children from outside Agua Viva Children’s Home in the years to come.

The building houses nine bright, new classrooms, a computer lab with ten PCs, a library, a tienda (snack shop), Principal’s office, teachers’ prep room, and bathrooms for the children and for the adults. A large cement patio in the front of the building, as well as access to Agua Viva’s soccer field and playground, allows the children ample space for recess and sports.

An energetic and devoted faculty, led by Principal Joel, is extremely excited about the prospects of teaching in a true school environment.

Agua Viva Children’s Home gives thanks and praise to God for this wonderful blessing and for all the people who answered His call with gifts of funding, supplies, physical labor, and prayer.
